Vintage Roots brings a uniquely Australian, Rockwiz inspired twist to their jazz-based interpretations of classic pop tunes. From iconic artists such as The Beatles, John Farnham, Cold Chisel, Van Halen, Goo Goo Dolls, Madison Avenue, Spiderbait, The Living End, Blondie, Hall & Oates, Cyndi Lauper and many more.

The bands musical inspiration is firmly entrenched in the jazz tradition with genres like trad jazz, stride piano, bossa nova, Latin and swing all well represented.

With their Rockwiz inspired “Popkwiz”, the band engages audiences with trivia questions, adding to a dynamic and memorable show. You’ll be buzzing in your answers quicker than a ROCK WHIZZ and singing “I’m the voice try an understand it” like never before!

After delighting audiences in many iconic jazz venues and festivals, including Melbourne’s famous Moomba festival and Paris Cat Jazz Club, Vintage Roots are bursting to share their catchy new arrangements.

WARNING: Even the most unlikely suspects may find themselves singing along!
