Jack Walker is a contemporary pianist, composer, and educator from Ballarat. Having graduated from Ballarat Clarendon College in 2014, he attended the James Morrison Academy of Music, where he completed a Bachelor of Music, and, in conjunction with the Academy’s premier Jazz orchestra, recorded an ARIA-nominated album and embarked on a tour of the U.S.A.

The New Nite Owls came together in 2014 as the successor to the late Hugh De Rosayro's New Orleans Nite Owls which he had formed in 2005. Now led by Pat Miller, Hughie's legacy is a hard driving, trumpetless trad band that just loves to play for dancers, bring your dancing shoes.

Hot Club Swing’s unique style of French Gypsy Jazz is alive and well, music originating in the 1930s is still thriving in the 21st century. The group draws its influences from an exotic palate of music from Latin America, Swing and Eastern Europe, painting on a canvas that can be eloquently French, starkly rustic or darkly and romantically Gypsy.
